Q4 2023 Performance of Top Film & Television Android Apps in the US

As the year 2023 came to a close, the Film & Television category on Android devices saw interesting trends among the top apps in the United States. Sensor Tower provides more insights into the performance of these applications.

Disney+ witnessed a revenue peak of $4.6M during the week of November 20, with downloads and weekly active users following a similar trend, hitting 162K downloads and 3.9M active users in the same week, respectively. Throughout Q4, the app maintained a strong presence with revenues consistently above $2M and active users in the 3M range.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies also experienced its highest revenue in the last quarter at $2.8M in the week of December 18. Downloads reached a high of 410K in the week of November 20, while weekly active users peaked at 2.4M in the same period.

Peacock TV: Stream TV & Movies saw a steady revenue increase, peaking at $2.2M in the week of November 27. Downloads for the app hit an impressive 323K during the week of October 23, with weekly active users reaching nearly 2M in the same week.

Paramount+ demonstrated consistent revenue, with a high of $1.4M in the week of November 27. The app's downloads showed a peak of 142K in the week of November 20, while active users reached a high of 796K in the same week.

Lastly, Crunchyroll exhibited its top revenue of $1.2M during the week of November 20 and November 27. Downloads peaked at 62K in the last week of December, and the app's weekly active users reached a robust 1.4M during the week of October 30.
